Self-Extinguishing PMI Structural Foam
Rifeng FR is a closed-cell rigid foam base on Polymethacrylimide (PMI) polymer, that is completely free of CFC’s. It's with Fine Cell Size. Rifeng FR is Self-extinguishing and articularly suitable for applications in rail vehicles and watercraft, as well as use in the aerospace industry

Processing and Production
Rifeng FR can withstand medium temperature curing process with maximum temperature of 180℃ and maximum pressure of 0.7 MPa (dependent upon density). It’s suitable for curing methods such as autoclave, vacuum bag, RTM, VARTM, VARI, HP-RTM, etc.

Weight Saving
When building composite sandwich components, lightweight Rifeng FR has a closed cell structure that ensures the resin stays exactly where you want it – in the interface. This eliminates excess and unnecessary resin that adds undesirable weight to the finished part

Thermoforming and Shaping
Rifeng FR can be easily thermoformed or CNC machined to meet customer requirements. High precision, pre-shaped and ready-to-use foam cores in simple or complex geometries can also be supplied by us.

• Technical data values presented are typical for nominal density, subject to normal manufacturing variations, not applicable for designing and acceptance. Please contact our QA team for material criterion and standard.

• Density values are valid for full-size sheets with a minimum thickness of 10 mm(0.39 inch) only. Other density ranges are available upon request.
