Rifeng® WF is a closed-cell rigid PMI foam base on Polymethacrylimide (PMI) polymer, that is completely free of CFC's. It's light yellow with Medium Cell Size.
Rifeng® WF is the most cost-effective industrial grade product in our range of rigid foams. With excellent mechanical property and is suitable for a wide variety of applications.
Processing and Production
Rifeng® WF is particularly suitable for prepreg processing, but can also be used in resin infusion and RTM processes up to temperatures of 130 °C and pressures of 0.3 MPa.
Weight Saving
When building composite sandwich components, lightweight Rifeng® WF has a closed cell structure that ensures the resin stays exactly where you want it – in the interface. This eliminates excess and unnecessary resin. Less resin take-up during part processing means lower final part weight and reduced overall cost.
Thermoforming and Shaping
Rifeng® WF can be easily thermoformed or CNC machined to meet customer requirements. High precision, pre-shaped and ready-to-use foam cores in simple or complex geometries can also be supplied by us.
